You may know him for his bold, colourful street art murals, but you’ve never quite seen Steen Jones like this before. The fearless freelance artist has fused his love of graffiti-inspired art with a feel-good fit via his first-ever men’s underwear collection for Bonds. As someone whose work we’ve long admired (Steen featured in our recent ‘For Aussies By Aussies’ video series) the opportunity to collaborate with an artist as unique and progressive as Steen was one we jumped at!

The Bonds Fit Trunk has had a bold, graphic makeover, thanks to the incredible talents of fearless freelance artist, Steen Jones, who has created a limited edition capsule range for men. Designed for the guy who prefers a bit more support “down there,” the Fit Trunk has long been a favourite for its close-to-body fit, shorter length and comfy leg binds that won’t ride up. Now it’s been given the Steen special touch (sparkly waistband included!) featuring four bespoke illustration prints.
The collaboration, a first for the Bonds men’s underwear team, offered an opportunity to step outside the norm to create a bespoke four-piece collection fusing Steen’s love of bold tattoo graphics with the fit and fabric of the Fit Trunk franchise. Here, Bonds men’s designer, Ben Lalic, discusses the in’s and out’s of partnership from start to finish…
