Nineteen-year-old model Kelly Gale is one of our youngest Bonds girls, but as we found out when we sat down with her on the set of our shoot celebrating our 100 year anniversary, she’s definitely one of the hardest-working.

 The half Australian half Indian beauty reveals she gets her rockin’ bod by training up to four hours a day to the lead up to an underwear shoot or catwalk show. When she’s travelling, she always carries her workout kit: a skipping rope, ankle weights, discs and resistance bands. “I did a workout this morning before coming on this shoot,” Gale says in between shots. “Even if I’m really tired, I can roll out of bed and do my routine on the floor of my hotel room.”

If pushed, Gale will tell you her favourite Bonds undies are a Hipster Hi-Bikini (hey, we couldn’t not ask!). And her earliest memory of Bonds involves running around the backyard and playing soccer in a pair of Bonds undies and not much else, because she hated wearing clothes as a kid.

How would you describe your personal style?

Comfortable and chic.

You are one of BONDS most recent ambassadors, joining last year – what was it like working with such an iconic Australian brand?

I was really proud to work with such a great Australian brand, all my family back home thought it was great as well!

What’s your favourite of the BONDS classics?

I really like the Hipster Hi-Bikini undies; they’re so comfy.

What’s your top tip for staying in shape?

Working out a lot and maintaining a healthy diet.
