He’s the up and coming tennis sensation that captivated all of Australia during his recent Wimbledon campaign. And now, following in the footsteps of another famous Aussie tennis star, Nick Kyrgios is the new face of Bonds Microfibre Guyfront Trunks. We caught up with Nick on the set of the shoot to get the lowdown on what makes him tick.

What do you prefer…

1. Boxers or briefs?

No question: Bonds Microfibre trunks all the way!

2. Beach or bush?

Earlier this year the National Academy players went to Wilson’s Promotory National Park at the southern end of Victoria for a bit of team bonding. It is almost completely surrounded by amazing coastal beaches and has a heap of bushland in the centre. I like when you can get the best of both worlds.

3. Books or movies?

Video games!

4. Mornings or evenings?

You’ve definitely got to become a morning person when you’re training.

5. Michael Jackson or Michael Jordan?

Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time.

6. Dancing or singing?

After my attempt at the Juicy Wiggle after my match against Nadal at Wimbeldon, I’m probably gonna have to choose singing.

7. Chips or chocolates?

Bonds will probably find a new ambassador if I have too much of either!

Watch Nick with our mate Pat Rafter in the new TV ad here!

I would definitely recommend you take a look at Brodie Grundy (AFL Collingwood) as a Bonds Ambassador. The whole package 😉 Height, body, looks & brains, also just like Pat Rafter, a true Aussie gentlemen! CHECK HIM OUT BONDS!!!!

Hi Tj, thanks for getting in touch. We worked with Nick Kyrgios on a Microfibre campaign last September, but he is no longer an ambassador for the brand. Thanks, Bonds x
