It’s been an epic year for Brooklyn, the little cutie who was named our Baby Search Wonder Bub for 2016. From nearly 60,000 entries, Brooklyn was awarded our biggest prize ever – the chance to star in a Bonds TV ad. And boy did he, plus soooo much more! We caught up with Alyssa, Brooklyn’s mum, to find out what the past year has been like.
‘Tis the season of giving, and at Bonds we’re aiming to give back to those families who may have had rough time of it lately. Families who have been affected by childhood heart disease (CHD). This Christmas, we’re teaming up with the workers at HeartKids, Australia’s only national organisation to fund medical research into childhood heart disease and support kids living with heart disease.
HeartKids offers support and information for affected families, raises awareness and drives world class research into the causes, treatment and management of CHD to improve the lives of ‘heart kids’ and their families. They also have representatives at all major children’s hospitals providing advice, information and support where it’s needed. In the last 12 months alone, they have helped over 10,000 families across the country.
