Feeling a little crafty? Winter weather is the perfect excuse to stay indoors and work on some fun projects around the house – like this Dino Jar from craft blogger Rachel Burke of ‘I Make, You Wear It’. Perfect for storing the kids crayons! Check out the easy step-by-step DIY below…
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
1 x Jam Jar with lid
1 x Dinosaur Figurine (preferably with flat feet)
Tacky Craft Glue
Mint green paint (or whatever colour you desire)
STEP 1. Remove the lid from your jam jar and glue your dinosaur figurine onto it. Try to use a figurine that has flat feet, so you can just put a bit of glue under each foot. Then allow to dry.
STEP 2. Once your dino is glued firmly in place, paint the lid/dino in white paint. Allow to dry.
STEP 3. Paint over all the white paint in the colour of your choosing. I have gone with mint green!
STEP 4. Allow to dry…and that’s it…you are done!
