WHAT YOU NEED
Card board letters
Crepe Paper rolls | I used yellow, green, baby pink, mauve and bubblegum pink.
Before you begin, take a moment to consider what colour crepe paper you want to fringe each letter with. I selected the below colour combination:
Then you are ready to prepare your fringing for your first letter. Unroll your crepe paper and cut it into some manageable lengths – I tend to go for 30cm strips. Then, start fringing the paper by snipping into it. Aim for a 1cm space between each snip.
Once you’ve prepped some fringing, now you can begin applying it to your letter. Simply apply some PVA glue to your letter’s surface and begin to attach and wind your fringing around the letter. Do this until the entire letter is covered.
Once you have done your first letter, simply repeat the process of fringing your crepe paper and applying it to the rest of your chosen letters.
Before you know it…OH WOW…you’ll be done!! And these letters will be ready to stand, stack or hang around any space! Happy fringing!
